This is a sketch scene creation. This painting is based on the photos I took in the V&A Museum. I extracted the unique arch structure of the building, abandoned various details and colors in the real scene, and added my own imagination to create a fantastic scene. Some people say it looks like a dragon's eye, some people say it looks like an egg, but I didn't give it a clear definition when I painted it, I hope my painting can give viewers the space to interpret or "misread". I just wanted to create a fantastic space and time, and even I can only guess what these objects are by imagination.

This is also one of a series of sketching scenes, based on a photo I took of a volcanic lake in Iceland. I took the shapes of the mountains and the lakes and the interesting light and shadow in the scene and made some changes. I think the surrounding state of the mountains is like a protective posture, so I combined the mountain with the muscular form of the arm, while the form of the nearby mountains is more like a severed arm or the limb of some unknown creature. The most important element in the picture is the volcanic lake, which I have likened to a glittering treasure or magic array. The background also echoes these magical elements.
As for the painting on the right, it is my experiment on new materials. I used a new base material, painted it full of color and washed it again, trying to create a sense of historical relics. It was only an unsuccessful experiment, but the results were interesting.

Some sketches, random drawings when I'm inspired. The images of these monsters are combined with some of the 'monster' characters from horror films that I remember so well. I love the juxtaposition of 'monsters' and flowers, I love the feeling that beautiful things clash with disgusting bloody things, and I usually combine them. These monsters have a strong femininity, which is perhaps the female 'monster' image that I hope to portray.

This is the wet state and the dried state of the pigment in the same painting, which is also a material experiment of my base material. I poured a lot of water and water-based paint on a canvas that was not absorbent, and the canvas was wrinkled because of the moisture, and the paint accumulated in the wrinkles to form an interesting picture. When completely dried, the flowing effect is also very strange. What I like most is the light yellow halo-like color blocks in the picture, so the soft effect is what I want. Of course, this is only a very immature and can even be called a failure of the experiment, but for me it is essential to explore the process.

This is my first drawing this semester about my current research direction. This painting is based on an abandoned Madonna, and I draw on the Madonna to some extent in the form of the main object of the painting. Then they fill it with torn flesh and twisted organs, as if they were tearing apart the skin to expose its internal structure. In many places I deliberately added some feminine structure and tried to create a sticky texture.

This painting is also a deformed Mosaic of human organs and limbs. I painted a woman in the process of giving birth, and the "monster" that she "gave birth" is the element that runs through the picture, which I want to reflect the great harm caused to women by giving birth. The male body at the top of the picture is oppressive, and I want to highlight the oppression of women in the patriarchal society through this.
